This is the iconic, flagship Leica M3 Rangefinder Camera, widely regarded as one of the most historically significant and best-built mechanical 35mm cameras ever created. This model introduced the M-Mount system and features the classic high-magnification (091x) viewfinder, ideal for precise focusing with 50mm lenses.

The camera is paired with a legendary lens: the Leitz SUMMICRON 50mm f/2 Ridged prime. This fast, compact lens defined the quality standard for all subsequent Summicrons.

Condition Report

The camera and lens are in excellent cosmetic condition and mechanically functional.

• Mechanism: The shutter fires and the rangefinder patch is bright (accuracy unchecked). The single-stroke film advance operates smoothly. If the camera is to be used professionally, the a service is always recommended.
• Optics: The Summicron 50mm lens optics are clear. We find no fungus or haze.
• Cosmetic: The chrome body shows minimal cosmetic wear and surface wear typical of a well cared-for vintage camera. The black leatherette is intact.
• Meter Note: The included Leica Meter is a working collectible accessory.
