Condition Report

The camera and lens are in Very Used cosmetic condition and are assumed to be mechanically functional.

• Mechanism: The shutter fires and the rangefinder patch is clear (accuracy unchecked). The single-stroke film advance operates smoothly. This camera will require a service if it to be used professionally.
• Optics: The Summicron 50mm lens optics are used. We find slight onset of fungus. Internal dust or slight internal haze (common to this vintage) may be present. A clean is recommended for ultimate perfection.
• Cosmetic: The chrome body shows brassing, tarnishing, and surface wear typical of a well-used but cared-for vintage camera. The leatherette is intact.
• Meter Note: The included Leica Meter works, but is NOT guaranteed to be accurate.
