Vintage Film Camera Shop

Ca.1958-1961, white body Penti compact SL film camera, made in East Germany. This is a viewfinder camera with a complete set of manual controls, all in three rings around the lens: for distance, aperture and shutter speed. It could make 24 18×24mm exposures on one strip of 35mm film. Initially developed by Walter Henning at VEB Zeiss Icon company, production was moved to VEB Welta Kamera Werke factory in 1958 because of capacity constraints. In well-used vintage condition and fitted with flash.

We do not pack in a big square box full of foam chips with a lens or camera floating around on the inside and contributing negatively to the global carbon footprint.

We use recycled (grey) materials as much as possible with bubble packaging. We confess, it may not be the prettiest packaging, but it is certainly effective in getting it to you safe and sound and mostly without customs inspection : )
